Development of a Visual Arts Strategy for 2008-2011

Supplies and Services Division, Central Procurement Directorate (CPD), on behalf of its client, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, invites tenders from suitably experienced service providers to research, develop and produce a Visual Arts Strategy.

The Arts Council is the lead development agency for the arts in Northern Ireland. It provides support for artists and arts organisations, offering a broad range of funding opportunities through Exchequer and Lottery funding.

The new Visual Arts Strategy must establish a clear vision for the development of Visual Arts within Northern Ireland with priorities and key actions for the Arts Council to implement over the next three years.  It must also, in keeping with the Arts Councils wider aims and objectives, encourage a co-operative approach in order that public benefit can be maximised.
