Call to Keep Our Arts Alive

29/11/2007

Keep our Arts Alive is the plea of the arts sector, as the Arts Council of Northern Ireland embarks on the second phase of a campaign for improved funding for the arts.

The website www.keepourartsalive.com offers information to anyone who wants to support the campaign. The online campaign will run alongside an outdoor campaign and a rally which will take place on Monday 10th December at Stormont.

art work ‘The Big Fish' by John Kindness located at the Lagan Weir. The image represents Northern Ireland without art – a consequence that Northern Ireland may have to tackle following
the government’s bitterly disappointing draft budget allocation.
