Disability Strategy and Action Plan 2007 - 2008

In accordance with Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland is required to screen all of its policies to ensure the promotion of equality and good relations. We now wish to consult as widely as possible with all interested parties on the outcomes of the Disability Strategy and Action Plan 2007 - 2008 screening.

The Disability Strategy and Action Plan 2007 - 2008 is now available as Rich Text and PDF.

Any comments which you may wish to make with regard to the decision by the Arts Council not to submit the Programme to an equality impact assessment as outlined in the screening template should be made no later than Monday 21st January 2008.

To assist in responding a pro forma has been provided below. Comments on the Disability Strategy and Action Plan 2007-2008 can also be made in writing for the attention of Amanda Leighton or by email to aleighton@artscouncil-ni.org

The consultation documents can be also be made available on request, in alternative formats (including large print and computer disc), and in minority languages to meet the needs of those who are not fluent in English.
