Mentoring Development Project

This report details the findings of a three year pilot mentoring programme based on a concept developed by playwright Michelle Read who identified a need amongst mid-career artists for greater dialogue around their work

Using an Australian model of mentoring as a starting point, the pilot project, through a series of interviews and focus groups developed a unique all-island model. This model was subsequently tested across a number of artforms, with the findings presented in the form of case studies.
