Public Art Programme Section 75 Screening In accordance with Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland is required to screen all of its policies to ensure the promotion of equality and good relations. We are planning to introduce the above stated Programme in September 2005 and now wish to consult as widely as possible with all interested parties on the outcome of its screening.
I have attached a copy of the completed screening template along with guidance notes which include summary details for the Programme.
Any comments which you may wish to make with regard to the decision by the Arts Council not to submit the Programme to an equality impact assessment as outlined in the screening template should be forwarded to me by 20 September 2005.
