ARTS COUNCIL OF NORTHERN IRELAND invites applications for the following two posts:
Applicants must have a 3rd level qualification and at least 2 years’ experience, gained within the last 4 years, in a post that included the delivery of equality of opportunity policy and practice, and must have knowledge of equality, freedom of information, human rights and data protection legislation, particularly as they relate to Northern Ireland. Analytical and IT skills, the ability to set up effective information retrieval systems and to maintain effective external relationships, and experience of promoting equality awareness and training in an organisational context are also required, as is the ability to work outside normal office hours and to travel throughout Northern Ireland. Salary range £18,440 to £26,326 (under review) Music Officer (Temporary post) (Ref: 03/08) Tenable for 1 year starting in September 2003 Applicants must have a 3rd level qualification and at least 2 years’ experience gained within the last 4 years in music. They must be able to contribute to policy development, evaluate applications for funding, give advice and guidance, analyse information, formulate decisions and think strategically. An appreciation of Equal Opportunities issues, the ability to work outside normal office hours and access to transport are also essential.
