ARTS COUNCIL OF NORTHERN IRELAND invites applications for the following two posts Resources Manager (03/05): Applicants must have a 3rd level qualification plus a CIPD or equivalent professional qualification and at least 3 years’ experience gained within the last 5 years in a post that involved all aspects of personnel management. Experience of premises and services management, policy development, knowledge or experience of Health and Safety at Work and Equality of Opportunity issues and analytical ability and strategic thinking are also required. Experience of NICS terms and conditions of employment would be an advantage. Salary Range £22,832 to £34,992 (under review) Research and Policy Officer (03/06): Applicants must have a 3rd level qualification and at least two years’ experience, gained within the last 4 years, in a post that included research, information gathering and analysis. Skills in research design and methodology and project management, the development and drafting of policy and discussion papers, an understanding of government structures and arts and cultural policies in Northern Ireland and the ability to maintain effective external relationships are also required, as are knowledge of Microsoft Office and SPSS, an understanding of equality opportunity issues and the ability to travel throughout Northern Ireland.
