Widening Access – Launch & Roadshow Ormeau Baths Gallery, Belfast Tuesday, March 26th 2002 at 12.30am The Arts Council of Northern Ireland, in association with the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure, and the Arts and Disability sector, is launching Widening Access at the Ormeau Baths Gallery, Belfast on Tuesday, March 26th 2002. The event is open to everyone. The Launch begins at 12.30am. It will be preceded at 10.00am by Disability Equality Training and followed at 2.00pm by a series of Roadshow presentations. Widening Access is a programme of roadshows, performances, workshops, new funding and strategic initiatives which is designed to inform, promote, educate, stimulate and celebrate the concept of access to the arts for everyone. Widening Access Workshops and Event Birds of Paradise is a Glasgow-based Theatre Company which will be facilitating interactive, skills-based workshops for physically disabled participants in the Island Arts Centre, Lisburn from Monday April 22nd - Thursday April 25th. The participants will appear in a facilitated event at the Widening Access Performance at W5 at the Odyssey, Belfast on the evening of April 26th 2002.
