CONSULTATION WITH THE ARTS CONSTITUENCY Work In Progress the Arts Council’s draft paper 2001/2006 Tuesday 19th September, 7.00pm - 10.00pm
The Arts Council of Northern Ireland is holding several meetings across Northern Ireland to present and discuss its forthcoming five-year plan, submitted in draft to the Department of Culture, Arts & Leisure on September 4th. In light of the review of the last five-year plan, conducted by Anthony Everitt and Annabel Jackson, the Council has been considering its long-term aims in detail. It would like the opportunity to share its thinking with artists and arts organisations. The paper forming the basis of the discussion was posted out to more than 1,000 arts bodies and interested parties on August 23rd and is published on the Arts Council web site (Click Here). The Arts Council would welcome all responses, either given in person at the several meetings or in writing, before the end of September.
