Padraig McCann studied at the University of Ulster from 1984-89 gaining an MA in Fine Art in 1989. McCann’s work is concerned with social and political issues and with the concepts of memory and the passage of time. His work has been exhibited extensively with shows in Sarajevo, Hong Kong and throughout Ireland. In 1993 he had a solo show at the Fenderesky Gallery in Belfast. His work is included in public and private collections including that of the Arts Council of Great Britain at the South Bank Centre, London.
