Phyllis Mahon studied painting and printmaking at Belfast College of Art from 1971-76. She works mainly in pastels and prints and has exhibited in Belfast, Dublin and London. She has also had solo shows in Liverpool, Chester, Worcester, Bedford and Taunton. In 1992 she moved to Lincolnshire. Her work has a dreamlike quality and focuses upon women as the central characters.
