Sculptor Adrian Hall is well known for his innovative and witty work making use of materials such as light bulbs, vacuum cleaners, badges and various symbols. He studied at Plymouth College of Art (1959-1963) and the Royal College of Art, London from 1964-67 and taught in the USA and New Zealand before coming to the School of Art and Design in Belfast in 1973. In 1975, he was awarded a commission to create a land sculpture on the Kilcooley Estate in Bangor. His many shows include the Arnolfini Gallery, Bristol, Project Gallery, Dublin and Young Contemporaries at Tate Gallery, London.
