Chris Wilson went to Brighton Art College and graduated from there in 1982 with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art. In 1985 he obtained an MA in Fine Art from the University of Ulster. Wilson uses maps and mixed media in his work of which he says ‘each work is a composite of layers both in the physical and subjective sense celebrating the act of creating, and drawing upon feelings and experiences of pleasure and vulnerability. He has exhibited widely both nationally and internationally and currently combines his creative work with managing the Glebe Gallery in Churchill, County Donegal.
