
PUBLIC CONSULTATION ON DRAFT BUDGET IS NOW CLOSED

The Northern Ireland Executive is seeking your views on how it plans to make substantial cuts to government spending over the coming budget period 2011-15. You have until Wednesday 16th February 2011 to respond to their public consultation.
The Arts are facing a proposed £4.2 million budget cut. With inflation this represents a real terms reduction of 23%, and that will impact directly on frontline services: i.e. our artists and arts organisations.
These budget cuts are disproportionately high compared with other sectors.
Please support the ‘Fair Deal for the Arts’ campaign against the scale of these cuts and help bring about a fair and proportionate deal for the arts:
