The Small Grants Programme Lottery programme is open to constituted groups who need between £500 and £10,000 to help run an arts activity. Through this programme the Arts Council wants to encourage you to develop and deliver your ideas, linked to your artistic needs and to your future plans. The aim of this programme is to assist organisations to deliver arts projects which contribute to the growth of arts in the community for new and existing audiences and which reflect the diversity of Northern Ireland’s society and culture. We want to support activities which benefit the people of Northern Ireland or that help arts organisations in Northern Ireland carry out their work.
The grant scheme is open to professional arts organisations and community organisations alike. All art forms will be considered, however you must engage a professional artist in your proposed work. You can apply to the Small Grants Programme though hard copy applications or through our online application process by following the links below. Before you start you must read the guidance notes for the scheme carefully as it contains important information on eligibility criteria and on how to apply. If you need advice or guidance in developing your plans you can contact the Small Grants Programme Officer.
