Artform Definition

The Arts Council supports all aspects of the Music and Opera sector; voluntary, amateur, community groups and festivals.

We believe that access to music-making enhances the social and cultural life of people in Northern Ireland.

The Arts Council offers a programme which includes all scales of Opera production with appropriate education, outreach and training elements.

We encourage professional concerts and educational and training activities with national and international artists across Northern Ireland.
